EARLIEST BAILEY BANKS BIDDLE BB&B AIRSHIP PILOT BLIMP WINGS BADGE PIN!
YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SEE A FINER, MINIMAL WEAR SET OF PILOT WINGS!
These are real beauties, from the latter 1928 catalogue code 51433, a set of almost Biblical rare set of "B.B & B. - PHILA." Aircrew Pilot Wings!. They are further stamped with the same era "STERLING" smaller stamp beneath. These babies have it all. Many a forum has agreed: "If you own single set of Airship wings, then you are an expert."

And if they happen to be a set of absolute 'Cream-Of-The-Crop' record breaking famous makers like these Bailey Bank and Biddle's from Philadelphia, PA - then you are one of a select few, as they are the top collector's Holy Grail of makers for this particular qualification badge.

These wings have seen well cared for service in the fact that so much of the airship's contour and highlight lines are still to be seen, many other surviving badges from any maker look worse, as the Blimp's contour lines are typically polished away that occurs rather quickly after issue to an exuberant new pilot wanting to look his shiny best, as these did stamped features are finely molded lines to begin with upon the design itself. The rigging on this badge is also extremely detailed and equally intact. The feathering has extreme detail and character with fine original righteous patina. It looks like the wings were "minimally" touched by the owners throughout time.

The rear pin assembly is original and intact. Nothing ever repaired and roller clasp is perfectly functioning. Great, wicked patina on the reverse as well. A handsome set of wings with that deep laid die stamping that is ohh, so 'Classic' in every regard.

There you have it. With my hand held ruler, it looks like a width of 3 and one eighth inches in length, and weighs in at 17.6 grams, or .62 ounces.

I've crawled over this thing with a loop, and they are primo specimens that reek of 10000% die stamped, earliest era made, classic and perfect in every regard: Bailey Bank and BiddleAIRSHIP PILOT wings!
