ULTRA-RARE SET OF 4 EACH, SAUDI CREATED ART LEAFLETS
MADE ON HEAVY CARDSTOCK THEY DID NOT DEPLOY WELL - BUT SUPERB ARTWORK.
There are all four leaflets in this set! Desert Shield Saudi artist generated and failed in that they did not deploy well because they were too heavy as printed on cardstock. As the author of Tiger Patterns, I guarantee their authenticity. This is an interesting series because the Saudi artwork is of the more attractive of the war. The 4 are:

The data I compiled on the Leaflet's use vary slightly, but here is a sample from Leaflet C05:

The target audience is the Iraqi military within Kuwait. There is a sense of impending doom. The theme of Arabic fraternity is also implicitly listed. Coalition unity is the theme upon the leaflets reverse.

The colors used within this leaflet are extremely mellow and are very distinctive. Figures appear to be very elongated due to digitizing from proof measurements. The calendar is for the entire month of January, and not just the number "15" as in the variant of this leaflet product.

This leaflets first known print request date occurred upon December the 29th, when 36,000 leaflets were ordered for a January the 1st due date, with 113,000 leaflets being dropped during the 8th SOS's 12/13th January, 2nd Mission 2nd Flight which was executed upon Kuwait City proper.

Another 25,000 additional leaflets were counted within inventories at the end of the war. Certain 4th PSYOP materials also credit this leaflet with having been disseminated thru balloon operations over northwestern Kuwait as well as over southern Kuwait.

That same written reference source states that the total leaflet production was 40,000, an obvious variance with regards to the above released totals. It is extremely likely that the print request date of December the 29th, for 36,000 leaflets was in actuality the 40,000 total for leaflet V05, which were separately disseminated thru balloon operations over northwestern Kuwait as well as over southern Kuwait.

These leaflets were proven to not auto rotate upon deployment due to their excessive stock weights.

This is a highly artistic, and extremely rare leaflet.
