Sweet. I was garage sailing a long time ago and saw this man and simply asked if he was a veteran.

Yes, 86th Infantry Division. And did he have some nice items. Here we some of the items I kept, all will be offered in a grouping. He took photos, and souvenirs and had the facts to back it up with.

Company A, 341st Infantry. Taken home from combat.

What I remember most about my interview with Private Walter Anderson, who later retired as an FBI agent in Salt Lake City, was his relating of a story on the taking of an Iron Cross 1st Class from an SS Officer who was leading a group of Volkstrum the Air Force had just bombed.

He was pretty torn up and frazzled by it all. The story was - "Boy, was he pissed" when Private Anderson took the Iron Cross from him, and his Belt Buckle as well. Both of which are offered here for sale, as well as most of the Private's combat souvenir memorabilia in one group.

Field taken in the act of war in April of 1945, just before they moved into Austria. You cannot upgrade over anything in this grouping by sheer documentation.

One of only a dozen or so true, war taken large groupings that I have been personally responsible for bringing to light over the years. It has my guarantee, as the Author of historic texts Tiger Patterns and Seeds of Victory.

In any regard, a beautiful item, no tarnish, only true aged grace. Looks like 50MM wide by 63MM long, at least held over a ruler. No hallmarks. A great buckle, no damage. No dents, no defects. This item is 1000% guaranteed as an original, and guaranteed taken in combat. Perfect for any collection or display! SEE THIS VETS MANY OTHER ITEMS!
