CASED WWII MINT WRAPPED BROOCH NUMBERED SILVER STAR MEDAL!
PERFECTLY MINT AND WHAT A PERFECT BRASS BENT WRAPPED BROOCH!
This WWII original fully wrapped brooch medal is a bright and vibrant beauty. It is complete in the case, and has two ribbons, one with the oak leaf cluster on it, and also two the lapel pin for button hole wear. One of those lapel pins is Bailey Biddle & Bankd, BB&B marked.

WWII Coffin style leatherette hinged case that is also in perfect condition. The medal itself is mint, un-named and has two extra ribbon for uniform wear, as well as two lapel pin for button hole wear. The ribbon is bright and free of soiling, snags or pulls.

Awarded primarily for primarily for valor in the face of enemy combat, and for any branch of service. This is an early war medal with the rim number "101242".

By that number range, this medal was produced by Medallic Art Company under an August the 13th of 1942 contract with a purchase order date of January the 20th of 1943. This is a straight Army contract, since the pin drops straight into the catch (very similar to a WWI Victory Medal Brooch).

Fine medal, immaculate condition, no defects, primo all the way! You will find none better.
